Drafting in a cloth

Hello Friends .Sorry for the delay in posting. Now I have real dress stitching pics,accroding to my measurements.You should learn drafting in waste or low cost cloth.

Sleevs in double folded cloths

After cutting along upper curve, two pieces from bottom is taken to the left.

To cut neck, I have folded the front side cloth from the middle, kept it on left over cloth which is folded.

Joint neck patti , on the neck after stitching the outer side

front,back and sleevs joined ,marking according body chest,waist and hips measurements.

2nd line=waist
3rd line=hips

After cutting back and front part of Kameez , let us cut Sleevs.

HOW TO CUT AFTER DRAFTING

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY

Here is the sample ,showing the measurements.Before stitching you have to take the measurements according to the piture shown below.

PQ=length of the kameez(measure from shoulder to knee keeping the posture of body straight)

AB= Shoulder length (it should be  13" or 14" or 15 " or 16 " etc.) depending upon the body structure.

AC= length of sleev

CD=sleev round

GH=Chest (32" or 34" or 36" etc)

MN=Waist round

EF=depth of neck(measure separately for front and back)

Normally these measurements should be taken.

Day-1

Basic thing to be learnt-

Measurements-

For Kameez

1. Shoulder lenghth
2. Sleev length
3. Sleevround
4. Length  of kameez
5. Chest
6. Waist
7. Width of the Lower portion of kameez.
8. Seat
9. Depth of neck
